If you can't be specific right now, no problem I understand. Having read of the various places PI's are being used, and more specifically ground balanced PI's, there is a challenge(location) I wonder if this new one can handle.
Let me say first that I consistently hear they(PI's) handle highly mineralized ground well, but nonetheless will false on Hot Rocks. So it appears they handle homogenous highly mineralized ground well, but not variable.
So here's the challenge:
1. Saltwater beach.
2. Heavy Black Sand from large rock outcroppings that are solid black.
3. Thick layer of stones from gravel up to basketball sized. These can be pieces of the nasty black rock or other types.
Single frequency VLF's are totally useless, and dual or multi-frequency have to have their sensitivity turned down to practically nothing. And even then they are chatty.
The problem of course is trying to GB against all these variables. I've never spent more than a half an hour at this location because it's just a waste of time. And likewise I've never seen anyone else there either even though it's a very busy beach in the summer.
Based on the time you had with it, would this White's PI be able to handle these abysmal ground conditions?
Thanks,
Blazo
