If I set up a detector a given way under given conditions and analyze its performance and report that, its called scientific method, and the results are repeatable and verifiable by anyone, regardless of whether they are positive or negative. When the T-2 first came out it was advertised as a do it all detector, now people mention it as a relic or prospecting machine because digging iron is an accepted norm for those fields of endeavor. I do not chart results on emotion, but by actual field use,and the collated results of others who take a critical look at all the factors of its use, no emotion is needed. But you on the other hand do not like verifiable facts, from whomever, and resort to nothing but emotion and personal attacks. Many people are using the T-2, and those that are objective and have no personal financial stake in it have valid results that can be validated by others. Your statement that "my requirements for performance..." show your bias based upon emotion, rather than your assessment of what a given detector will do-therefore you make allowances, and overlook the liabilities and redefine the performance to make it acceptable. The bottom line is you overlook the faults and rationalize reasons for keeping it by narrowly defining what it will do under very, very limited circumstances. That way you can ignore its problems.
