Still, a loss of only a half inch is not bad at all. I was testing the Cibola on the beach the other day with a nickel. At 8-9" it disced out higher than in air, up in the tab range. Just below small nail reject it would signal at 12". Raise the disc a bit and it lost an inch or so off that 12". BTW, the X5 I had did no better on the same test.
