I haven't seen a 8500 is years but I think that's correct. You only need one charger to charge both batteries at the same time. However, the charger must have an AC output. If your charger only supplies DC then only one battery will be charged. I don't recall the exact AC voltage but it is in the neighborhood of 12volts AC rms. George Responses:
