Hi deathwind,I've tried the MXT with Shooter for coin detecting, and liked it a lot. Was in a less trashy area, and running lower disc. I'll give it a try the way you suggest. And maybe back the sens down a bit more.
Despite my other post the MXT is one of my favorite detectors. When I'm in my normal patient mood I like the Shooter coil and relic mode, trigger forward. Just dig all the non-ferrous, and see what I get. Great on beaches in particular.
But I can't ever seem to be totally happy with just one detector (or two or three...). Seems like I need a different detector for every place and type of item I'm after!
